Durga Puja Celebration 2013

Boys'91 celebrated the annual Durga Puja event with vigour and joy.


As there is a huge need for the availability of transplant-able donor corneas worldwide to reduce the burden of corneal blindness due to corneal opacity. Voluntary eye donation depends on the awareness levels of various stakeholders in the community. Boys'91 organised an eye donation camp in collaboration with Siliguri Lions Netralaya to foster the awareness among the future generation. About 45 people comprising the members and their spouses had donated their eyes. Shri Dilip Kr. Agarwal, President of Siliguri Lions Netralaya was present in the event.


A sit and draw competition was also organised with the kids of the group members and the kids of the sex workers in association with Durbar Mahila Samanyan Committee, a shelter home for the children of the sex-workers and rescued children.




Boys'91 also felicitated to all the teachers as a part of gratitude towards their teachers. Boys'91 payed respect and thanked the humble teachers who laid the foundation for their success. This was followed by wonderful dance and singing performances by the kids.
